SEVEN STAND-OUT PIECES FROM SWOON
Have you checked out Swoon lately? Their new designs are sizzling! I’m talking head-turning, statement-making pieces of furniture with details in brass, marble and velvet. Swoon indeed.
If you need an introduction to Swoon, also known as Swoon Editions, they’re an e-commerce furniture brand offering handcrafted design for less.
They’re one of the companies shaking up the traditional business model so that they keep costs down. Mainly it’s about cutting out retail premises and warehouses.
So, yay to cheaper furniture – as long as you’re not in a rush. Their way of working does mean there’s often a fairly lengthy lead time, so bear that in mind.
But if you’re after strong, bold, design, have a browse of the New In or Deco areas of the Swoon website. You’ll soon be finding pieces that are well worth the wait.

7 STATEMENT PIECES FROM SWOON
Connie Sideboard
Have you noticed the trend for scalloped details in interiors right now? The scalloped frontage and flashes of brass make this one seriously theatrical sideboard. Add it to my shopping basket, daaarling!
Oswald Bar Trolley
Take a look at that curve appeal! This luxe brass and marble bar trolley will be the star of the party.
Simit Mirror
Add interest to your walls with the hypnotising Simit mirror, available in two styles that bring on the glamour and shine.
Globe Side Table
Adding in curves and circles to an interior helps break up all those straight lines. The Globe side table does the job in style with a luxurious brass and dark green marble finish.
Aero Shelving Unit
This Deco-style shelving unit is oh so sophisticated with the brass giving an injection of glamour.
Senzo Dressing Table
How could you not feel like a movie star with this dressing table? You’d need to stash most of your beauty gear elsewhere but with these good looks it might be worth it.
Penfold Footstool
I have two Penfold stools and they were my first purchase from Swoon. I couldn’t resist the luxe velvet finish or that deep emerald colour. They are so versatile and compact. I use them as spare seating in our small living room, as a footrest and for perching at my dressing table, like in Swoon’s lifestyle shot above.
Do you have any favourites from Swoon? Have any of these designs taken your fancy?
